Sarah Carmichael is a passionate advocate for her clients, whether she is representing them in a criminal matter or a family law issue. She strives to listen attentively to each client, understanding that each case is unique to each person.
Ms. Carmichael grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and later attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in violin performance. After a full career as a violin performer and teacher, Ms. Carmichael made the decision to follow another lifelong dream to become a lawyer.
During her time in law school at the University of North Texas at Dallas, Ms. Carmichael took part in the Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic, under the direction of attorney Cheryl Wattley. The experience of seeing firsthand how easy it can be for people to be wrongly convicted forever changed Ms. Carmichael’s outlook on the criminal justice system. Because of this perspective, Ms. Carmichael fights hard for her clients and tries to achieve the most just results in every case.
Outside of her work, Ms. Carmichael continues to play the violin, travel, and spend time with friends and family. Ms. Carmichael is proud to be part of the team at the Collin County Law Group.
